Role Business Development Manager Role Locations Diss, Norfolk Working hours Monday to Friday Full time hours Capacity of role Permanent position Salary 35,000 per annum My client is currently recruiting for a commercially driven, business minded , self-motivated individual who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to support the growth of the business. Working closely with the General Manager, this role will focus on expanding the client base, nurturing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue through targeted sales and marketing initiatives. The role requires a proactive, commercially minded individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills Main duties will include - ? Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the sector. ? Research and understand industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs. ? Generate leads through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach ? Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. ? Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company pricing and margin targets. ? Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ? Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company ? Act as a point of contact for new clients during the on boarding process. Candidate attributes - ? Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management ? Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. ? Excellent written and verbal communication. ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, growing team. ? Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits. ? A proactive, self-starting attitude with a focus on results and relationship-building.
