As a Paint Prepper, youll play a crucial role in preparing large trailers, chassis and assemblies for paintingensuring every surface meets our stringent quality standards.All suitable candidates will be trained up to to Spray Paint once deemed able, Rates then form 17.25 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesMasking and de-masking vehicle panels, fixtures and fittingsDegreasing, sanding and shot-blasting surfaces to specified profilesApplying primers, sealers and filler materials in line with manufacturer guidelinesInspecting panels for defects and surface consistency prior to hand-over to paintersMaintaining spray-booth hygiene, equipment calibration and consumable stock levelsAdhering to health & safety procedures, including correct use of PPEKeeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with housekeeping standardsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Paint Prepper in a commercial vehicle or heavy engineering environmentStrong knowledge of surface-preparation techniques: sanding, degreasing and maskingAbility to interpret technical drawings and prep schedulesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood physical stamina and ability to work at height or in confined spacesFlexible, team-oriented approach with a proactive work ethicWhats On Offer14 per hour day rate( Starting Rate)Overtime opportunities at Time and a half25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata)Pension scheme and Employee Assistance ProgrammeFree on-site parkingChristmas shutdown and enhanced parental leaveReady to Apply?If youre passionate about precision prep work and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, click Apply now or send your CV to [email protected].
