Casualty Claims Adjuster

Time Type: Full time Working Pattern: Hybrid Purpose of the Role We are currently seeking a Claims Adjuster (US Casualty) to join our well-established and market-leading Claims team, responsible for handling claims working alongside our Senior Claims Adjusters. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys problem-solving, seeking a new challenge within a dynamic, high-performing Syndicate. Duties And Accountabilities Handle claims, ranging in complexity, within a pre-determined authority level in accordance with the businesses London’s Claims commitment, philosophy and proceduresAdherence to internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service, for example through meeting SLAs and ensuring systems, e.g. ECF and DOCOsoft, are kept updatedEnsure our Underwriters and other internal stakeholders are kept informed of valuable claims information and/or issues and the subsequent impact on underwriting and policy interpretationDevelop and maintain positive relationships with external clients, brokers and third party expertsRegularly communicate with the wider Claims team and update on any relevant claims movements, issues and trendsProvide general support to the wider team, such as ad hoc tasks or projects as they ariseSkills, Knowledge And Experience Have a demonstrable claims background and technically sound claims knowledgeHave a good working knowledge of London Market claims systems (e.g. ECF)Be confident when liaising with internal and external stakeholders and clientsHave good written and verbal communication and a keen eye for detail and accuracyEnjoy problem solving, and be able to adapt to meet changing priorities and deadlinesBe able to work both collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously when required Be proficient in Word/Excel and similar applicationsBe part ACII qualified or working towards ACII (desirable but not essential)
