Senior Conveyancer – Residential Property Location:Derby Salary:£50,000 – £70,000 DOE Type:Full-time, Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivatedSenior Conveyancerto join a dynamic and supportive property team inDerby . This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to step into a leadership position, with clear pathways for career progression — including potential Associate Partner or Partnership status based on performance. You will take ownership of a diverseresidential conveyancing caseload , supervise junior staff and play a key role in business development and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion Provide guidance and supervision to a Conveyancing Assistant and Paralegal, supporting their growth and professional development Deliver an exceptional standard of client care and ensure a seamless client journey, working closely with the Onboarding and Post Completion teams Take a lead on complex and high-value transactions in collaboration with the Partner – Head of Residential Property Build and maintain strong relationships with introducers and referral sources to support business growth Contribute to the development and leadership of the department, playing a key role in succession planning and the future direction of the team What We’re Looking For: Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with5+ years PQE , or10+ years' experiencein conveyancing for those qualified by experience Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently and confidently Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with experience in managing or supporting junior staff Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both with clients and colleagues Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of client needs and introducer relationships Adaptability to change and a proactive approach to legal technology and process improvements Resilient, detail-oriented, and solution-focused – able to handle challenges with confidence and professionalism Desirable: Experience working in a senior or team lead role within a conveyancing department Previous involvement in business development initiatives A strong track record of client retention and referrer engagement If this role is of interest, please send me your up-to-date CV. #INDMADN#J-18808-Ljbffr
