Job Description Were looking for a skilled CNC Router to join a growing engineering company in Derby! This is a hands-on role where youll set up and operate CNC routers to produce high-precision components for a variety of projects. Full programming training will be provided, so this role is ideal for operators who want to expand their skills. Youll work in a modern, clean, and highly organised facility with opportunities for career development and progression. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with flexible start times and early finish on Fridays! What youll be doing Set up and operate CNC routers to produce precise components Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models (training provided) Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient production Monitor production and carry out inspections to ensure high-quality results Resolve machining issues and maintain smooth workflow Plan jobs efficiently to minimise waste and maximise productivity Work safely and collaboratively as part of the team Learn CAM programming and advanced CNC techniques through on-the-job training Hours Flexible day shifts (38 hours per week, Monday-Friday) Monday-Thursday: choice of 7am-3:30pm / 7:30am-4pm / 8am-4:30pm / 8:30am-5pm Friday: choice of 7am-1pm / 7:30am-1:30pm / 8am-2pm / 8:30am-2:30pm (early finish!)
