Welder Fabricator

Robertson Recruitment are working with a food production company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel equipment, including pressure vessels, tanks, and custom-rolled sheet metal components. With a strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and engineering excellence, they are expanding the fabrication team and looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricatorto join a growing operation. Working hours Monday to Thursday. 07:30am - 16:30pm Friday 07:30am - 12:30pm Responsibilities Fabricate and weld stainless steel components (mainly 304 & 316 grade) to food industry standards. Work from technical drawings and fabrication schematics. TIG welding of thin-gauge stainless steel and pressure vessel components. Rolling, cutting, and forming sheet metal using manual and CNC equipment. Fit and assemble welded parts using hand tools and measuring equipment. Ensure all welds are clean, consistent, and meet visual and non-destructive testing requirements. Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in line with food production standards. Skills required ? Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding and stainless steel fabrication. ? Experience working with pressure vessels and/or hygienic welding (desired but not essential). ? Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. ? Skilled in rolling, forming, and fitting stainless steel components. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
