Study Director Pesticide Residue Analysis Derby, England Full-time, Permanent Salary:Competitive with benefits We are seeking an experiencedStudy Directorto join and analytical laboratory based in Derby. Specialising inGLP-compliant pesticide residue analysis, the organisation supports agrochemical companies in the registration of plant protection products. In this role, youll take the lead on regulatory studies, from planning through to reporting, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality scientific outcomes. What youll do: Serve as Study Director for GLP regulatory studies Prepare detailed study plans and final reports Perform sample preparation, extraction, purification, and quantitation using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS Ensure compliance with GLP and regulatory protocols Method development and validation Collaborate with experienced scientists and field partners Support laboratory operations and contribute to continuous improvement Deliver high-quality data with accuracy and attention to detail Your background: A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline Strong laboratory skills with hands-on experience in chromatographic techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC) Previous experience in a GLP-accredited laboratory Method development and validation experience Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Our client is part of a global science-led company that provides testing, consulting, information and compliance services across a range of industries.
