Job DescriptionWere recruiting for a newly created Assistant Finance Business Partner role within a high-growth, commercially focused finance team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional to step into a broad, business-facing role with plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making.Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, Senior Finance Business Partner, CFO and FD, youll support a range of invested businesses with forecasting, reporting, and insightful financial analysis. Youll also play a key role in preparing management information, identifying risks and opportunities, and helping to drive continuous improvements in financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial teams, senior management, and invested business leadersAct as a finance contact for invested businesses, supporting them with day-to-day financial queries and longer-term planningPresent financial insights and analysis to senior stakeholders, both finance and non-financeProvide meaningful analysis of business performance and financial resultsSupport the preparation of budgets and forecasts for invested businesses and the wider groupAssist with scenario modelling and strategic planningIdentify risks, trends, and variances, offering proactive solutionsThe ideal candidate: PQ / QualStrong commercial awareness and understanding of business performance driversExcellent communication skills with the confidence to present to senior stakeholdersGood working knowledge of management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modellingA proactive approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced teamPower BI or similar data tools experience is desirable but not essentialExperience working with non-finance teams and explaining complex financial information clearlyWhats on Offer:40,000 45,000 salary depending on experienceStudy support for professional qualificationsPrivate medical insurance25 days annual leave + bank holidaysHybrid working: 3 days in office (MonWed), 2 days from home
