With exceptional YOY growth, an ambitious leadership team, and a strong acquisition pipeline, this is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership in a scaling business.The OpportunityAs Finance Controller, youll take charge of the finance function, giving the FD the space to stay strategic while you lead on day-to-day operations, month-end, reporting and controlsYoull work closely with the integrations team and manage a small team including Accounts Manager and AP/AR, becoming the key link that ensures finance operates smoothly as the group continues to expand.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, pace, and the chance to shape how a finance function evolves during high growth.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Reporting & Month-EndProduction of accurate monthly management accounts for multiple entities/divisionsConsolidation of results into group-level financial reporting packsDelivering meaningful commentary and insight for the senior leadership teamFinancial Control, Governance & ComplianceOwnership of financial controls, technical accounting policies and compliance frameworksEnsuring financial integrity and consistency across the groupLeading on statutory accounts preparation, audit coordination, tax submissions and other regulatory filingsEnsuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and month-end disciplineCashflow, Treasury & Working CapitalOwnership of cashflow forecasting and treasury managementMonitoring working capital performance and driving improvements where neededTeam Leadership & CollaborationLine management and development of the finance teamActing as the bridge between the FD (strategy) and operational finance (BAU)Working closely with the acquisitions team on integrationsBuilding strong working relationships across the wider businessYour ExperienceFinance Controller level experience, ideally in an SME or professional services environmentACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifiedSomeone comfortable taking full ownership of BAU financeStrong technical grounding with a good understanding of controls and complianceConfident consolidating financials, preparing management accounts and handling auditHands-on, methodical and proactiveA positive, ambitious team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
