Job Description MorePeople have partnered with LEAF to help lead the recruitment process for the next Executive Assistant to the CEO and the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange.LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) is a UK based charity that promotes environmentally responsible and economically viable farming. Its core mission is to help create a resilient food and farming system by supporting farmers, engaging the food supply chain, and building public understanding of how food is produced.Key responsibilities will include:Executive supportManage CEO and ELT diaries, meetings, and communications seamlessly and sensitively, ensuring high standards of responsiveness, accuracy, coordination, and discretionSchedule meetings to maintain a manageable balance between preparation, follow up, travel, and meeting timePolicy and advocacy supportEnsure policy briefings, position papers, and background materials for advocacy led events and external influencing activities are accurate, timely, and actionableEvent deliveryDeliver LEAF Annual Conference and other high profile events on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations based on post event feedbackBoard and governance supportSchedule, document, and follow up on Board and ELT meetings efficientlyProduce accurate minutes and distribute materials on timeThe ideal candidate's experience would include:EssentialProven experience supporting a CEO or senior leadership team in a senior administrative or executive liaison role, including Board administrationExperience preparing and coordinating policy briefings for senior executivesVery strong organisational, planning, and administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience of utilising technology such as AI to prepare and summarise information succinctlyExceptional written and verbal communication, minute-taking, and reporting skillsHigh level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive informationStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and relationship-building skillsStrong interpersonal skills and high standards of personal and professional integrityProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and associated systemsDesirable:Knowledge of farmingExperience working in a non profit, membership based, or agri-food, environmental, or sustainability focused organisationInterested in learning more and wanting to work with a business who are making real change?
