For over 30 years we have provided a service to injured people, to solicitors and to insurance companies. We specialise in catastrophic and serious injury cases and act on referral from the injured person or by instruction from the Claimant or Defendant representative.Our Reports Production Specialists are responsible for the accurate proof reading and formatting of our expert witness and immediate needs assessment reports, ensuring that ideas are expressed clearly and logically and form a coherent and meaningful whole. Attention to detail is essential for the successful management of a fluid workload, and successful delivery of a high standard of service to both internal and external customers.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGProof reading reports in fine detail to detect errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar and general coherencyFormatting reports to company standard and preparing associated letters and other supporting documentation on Microsoft Word, using the standard Bush & Co templatesCalculating costs of recommendations made within reportsEnsuring that all documentation is processed in an efficient and timely mannerEnsuring that reports and other documentation are checked for clinical accuracy and legal compliance via the Quality Assurance team before forwarding on to solicitorsEnsuring that electronic copies of all documentation are maintained and stored on the company database and any other data drives where applicableCollating and emailing / posting all relevant documentation to the required recipients within agreed timescales and/or Court deadlines and to specified security requirementsProcessing incoming documentation relating to joint statements for both internal and external customersMaintaining regular filing and saving onto the Matter Sphere database as required, thus maintaining the integrity of the information held withinProviding regular progress updates of workloads to the Team Leader/nominated allocator, including liaison with internal and external clients as appropriatePrompt communication to the team leader of any factors which are likely to affect the successful completion of allocated work within the agreed timescaleChecking of the Reports email inbox for mail to alert / action as necessaryOther duties commensurate with your role and the smooth running of your team and the company as a whole, according to business needs, including handling inbound calls to the main switchboardSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDEducated to minimum A level or equivalent in English languageEducated to minimum C grade GCSE standard or equivalent in MathsIntermediate/Advanced Word skillsBasic Excel skillsGood level of general computing literacyReliability and good timekeepingPolite telephone mannerProblem solving skillsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAttention to detailEffective personal organisationMethodical approachAbility to work under pressureAbility to take ownership and responsibility for own actionsWillingness to learn and expand roleGood team playerAbility to act pro-activelyDiscretion and confidentialityConscientiousCurious to challenge the status quoUnified in working together for the same gaols and visionDriven to achieve, succeed and progressPassionate about our customers, our business and personal performanceA career at Bush & Co gives you the opportunity to bring your skills and experience to the catastrophic injury sector, helping people following life changing injuries and supporting the legal and insurance industry to care for clients.Working with Bush & Co you can expect to work with like minded people who challenge the status quo, care about what they do, learn from each other and never take their eyes off the end goal; we think thats pretty special.As a member of our team, you can expect to work in a rewarding, fun environment with a commitment to working hard, enjoying what you do and making a difference to peoples lives.We have regular communication events, yearly award ceremonies and we have achieved Gold standard for Investors in People and have been voted the 43rd Best Small Employer in the UK for 2022.VETTING CHECKSDue to the nature of business, applicants for this role must be willing to undergo background vetting, including reference checks with previous employers, a criminal record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service, qualification verifications, and a review of any adverse financial records.REF-222799TPBN1_UKTJ
