We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with valid eDV clearance to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. This role involves working across development and operations teams to enable resilient platforms through modern cloud practices, automation, and container orchestration.You will be instrumental in shaping enterprise-ready cloud solutions by applying deep technical expertise in AWS alongside knowledge of multi-cloud environments, identity management, observability, and cost optimisation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architecturesDrive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform and CloudFormationBuild, optimise, and automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related toolsDeploy and manage containerised solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmImplement strong security and access controls using IAM, Vault, and Secrets ManagerEnhance platform observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK StackCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-availability solutionsKey Skills & ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience with AWS (Azure knowledge beneficial)Expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, and automation toolingStrong containerisation skills with Kubernetes, Docker, and related platformsProven background in cloud security, IAM, and governanceSolid understanding of monitoring and observability stacksAbility to influence architecture decisions and align solutions to best practicesDesired CertificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/ProfessionalAWS Certified Security – SpecialtyHashiCorp Certified: Terraform AssociateKubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD)Clearance RequirementThis role requires active eDV clearance.
