Early Years Practitioner

WMC RECRUITMENT is currently looking for Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an amazing team at Dartford , providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role requires strong leadership skills and the capability to manage a classroom while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted. Duties Follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Keep records of your key childrens development and learning journeys and share these with parents, carers and other key adults in the childs life Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. Support childrens emotional well-being by providing comfort and encouragement as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery. Respect the confidentiality of all information received. Drive initiatives that promote a positive nursery culture and enhance children's learning experiences. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a small team effectively. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences within the nursery setting.
