Commercial Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join a leading infrastructure contractor. The company work across water, energy, civil engineering and utility sectors. This role has become available to help support company growth. This role will suit an experienced Commercial Manager with a proven track record working within utilities and civil engineering environments. This is a hybrid working role. The Role Supporting the Commercial Director, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of a key regional contract, overseeing a team of surveyors and administrators, and working in partnership with operational leads to ensure efficient delivery and commercial integrity. This position would suit an experienced Commercial Manager or an ambitious and knowledgable Managing QS wanting to take the next step up in their career. Key areas of responsibility include: Leadership and mentoring of the commercial team Commercial reporting, forecasting and cost value reconciliation Oversight of contractual obligations, risk, and change management Management of subcontractor terms and performance Driving commercial strategy and supporting continuous improvement Experience Required Suitable candidates must be educated to HNC/BSc (Hons) in Quantitative Surveying and will be able to demonstrate: Strong track record in commercial leadership within infrastructure or utilities Deep knowledge of NEC forms, particularly Options A & C Proven ability to manage teams, stakeholders and subcontractors effectively High level of commercial and contractual acumen Resilient and pragmatic approach to working in live project environments In Return Youll be joining a well-respected team with long-term project stability, flexible working options, and a package that includes a competitive salary, pension, and health benefits.
