At Wade, we back our people to thrive at work and in life, because when our people grow, so does our impact.The OpportunityA Project Manager playsa central rolein planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects frominceptionto completion.Project Managers need to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in adherence with the specified quality and safety standards.Promotion of core business values is a constant factor in how individuals are expected to conduct themselves in every aspect of daily business execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and InitiationDefine and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelineDevelop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategiesCollaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders tofinalizedesign and specificationsPrepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecastsObtain necessary permits and approvals from authoritiesProcurement and Contract ManagementEnsure contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers are prequalified and approved beforeselectionPrepare and manage contractsEnsure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on timeEvaluate vendor and contractor performanceProject ExecutionManage and direct construction delivery teamsEnsure adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standardsCoordinate between architects, engineers, contractors, and clientsEnsure prompt and complaint resolution to issues that arise during constructionDefine project governance frameworks and meeting schedulesCost and Time ManagementMonitor project progress against schedules and budgetsImplement cost control measures to prevent overrunsApprove invoices, variations, and change ordersPrepare and present progress reports to key stakeholdersQuality and Safety ManagementEnsure compliance with specified quality standardsEnsure EHS standards are promoted and enforced on projects to continually seek compliance whilst striving for best in practiceEnsure frameworks areestablishedfor monitoring EHS performance through safety schedules and execution teams continuallymonitorcomplianceCommunication and Stakeholder ManagementEnsure project specific communication lines are defined between clients, consultants, and contractorsManage stakeholder expectations and lead conflict resolutionReport on milestones, risk managementProject CloseoutEnsure operational teams manage final inspections and ensure punch list items are completedOversee handover of completed project to the clientEnsure documentation, warranties, and as-built drawings are submittedConduct post-project evaluation and lessons learnedKey Skills and AttributesStrong leadership and communication skillsIn depth understanding of construction processes, safetylegislationand contractsFinancial and analytical acumenStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilityProficiencyin project managementAbout YouEssentialDegree in Engineering disciplineMinimum 5 years experience in construction or engineering rolesExperience working within pharmaceutical, life sciences or GMP-regulated environmentsStrong understanding of construction methods and technical coordinationUnderstanding of Building Safety Act and CDM RegulationsAbility to interpret drawings and technical documentationFamiliarity with programme management tools (MS Project / Primavera P6)Strong organisational and coordination skillsFull UK driving licenceCSCS Card or equivalentDesirableExperience supporting commissioning or validation activitiesKnowledge of NEC / JCT contractsAPM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or working towardNEBOSH or IOSH safety qualificationExperience working on live or operational sitesOur OfferCompetitive Salary6,000 Car AllowanceCompany Pension SchemeVitality Health CareRole based in LondonEmployment type:full-time
