Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us to deliver a 42M new build education campus in Mayfield (Dalkeith) nnLocation: Dalkeith, - some flexibility to work from homennHours: 40 hours per week someflexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to usnnWhat will you be responsible for?nnAs Senior Quantity Surveyor you will report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, delivering a modern energy efficient school and community campus that will be a fantatsic asset to the local community. You will take a key role in managing the cost and cashflow through effective commercial management of sub contractors and client reps under the contract conditions.nnYour day to day will include:nnOrganising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement.nAssessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.nNegotiating with sub-contractor supply chain to achieve best value.nManaging applications for payment from sub-contractorsnPreparation of applications for payment to clients.nMonitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)nPreparation of final accountsnnnWhat are we looking for?nnThis role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you can demonstrate.nnSkills & Experience:nnnExperience working within the main contractorenvironmentnHave comprehensive knowledge of NEC / JCT Contract conditionsnAre able to create monthly CVR reportsnComfort in dealing with client reps,sub-contractors and internal stakeholdersnnnQualifications and AccreditationsnnDegree or equivalentin quantity surveyingnFull UK Driving LicencennnWe're proud to be able to offerour brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
