We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for a flagship school. Committed to excellence in every aspect of the students experienceacademically, socially, and nutritionally. Their dining programme is a central part of culture, and they believe that great food fuels great learning. Now our client is seeking a passionate, skilled, and visionary Chef Manager to lead the kitchen and create memorable meals that support student wellbeing and delight the community. The Role As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and delivering high-quality, nutritious menus for pupils and staff. You will lead a dedicated kitchen team and play a key role in shaping a dining environment built on creativity, sustainability, and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver fresh, seasonal, and diverse menus that meet nutritional standards and inspire young people. Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain high culinary and hygiene standards. Manage stock, ordering, budgeting, and supplier relationships with efficiency and care. Ensure compliance with all health & safety and food hygiene regulations. Champion sustainability through responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and innovative ideas. Collaborate with school leadership to support themed days, events, and food education initiatives. About You You are a confident, creative chef who loves working with fresh ingredients and understands the unique dynamics of cooking for children and young people. You bring leadership, curiosity, and a desire to continually enhance the dining experience.
