Youth Tutor - Cwmbran Salary: 24,638 - 26,780 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:30 Location: Cwmbran (on-site) About the Role As a Youth Tutor , you'll inspire and support young people through Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+), a Welsh Government initiative helping individuals gain skills and work experience. You'll deliver engaging lessons, plan learning journeys, and help learners achieve their qualifications. Key Responsibilities Deliver training sessions using varied teaching methods Create lesson plans with differentiated activities Support learners to achieve qualifications on time Motivate and engage NEET learners in a positive environment What We're Looking For Experience as a tutor, trainer, or mentor for young people Experience working with NEET individuals Minimum Level 3 qualification or Degree equivalent GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade C / Level 5+) Ability to plan lessons and assess learner progress Benefits 30 days annual leave (increasing with service) Healthcare scheme 35-hour work week Retail & gym discounts Profit-sharing scheme Life insurance Employee recognition awards If you are ready to inspire and support young people to achieve their potential, we would love to hear from you.
