Job Description Locum Opportunity Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist (Wards Cover) | CumbriaWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist to provide wards-based clinical cover within a well-established NHS hospital in Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist seeking an ongoing locum role, offering competitive rates and on-site accommodation. Start Date: ASAP ongoing Pay Rate: 3242 ph umbrella company (or its PAYE equivalent) On-site accommodation available Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wardsReview, optimise, and reconcile medicines to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient prescribingParticipate in ward rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making as part of the multidisciplinary teamProvide medicines-related advice to medical, nursing, and allied health professionalsSupport safe discharge planning, including patient counselling and TTO reviewsIdentify, resolve, and proactively prevent medicines-related issues in line with NHS policies and guidelines Essential RequirementsRegistration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degreeProven previous NHS hospital experience at Band 7 or aboveAbility to work confidently and independently across wards with minimal supervisionStrong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills Interested?Please send your updated CV and confirm your availability at your earliest convenience [email protected] Not available or not quite the right fit?Referrals are very welcome we have a variety of hospital locum opportunities across the UK.
