Principal Safety Engineer

Job Description Location: Cumbria 2 days per month on site Security Clearance: Sole British citizen What youll be doing:Authoring and managing nuclear site assets' design substantiation documentation supporting the site nuclear safety caseReviewing analyses, assessments, and calculations supporting nuclear design substantiationSupporting periodic review of safetyTaking ownership of deliverables, and demonstrating high levels of autonomy and leadershipSupporting the implementation of design substantiation requirementsWorking closely with a broad range of stakeholders including Site Safety Case, Human Factors, and Engineering Authority TeamsSupport in the development of other team membersCollaborating with the wider business on site assets design substantiation related activitiesYour skills and experiences:Essential:Experience in safety regulations - open to all highly regulated industries. Degree qualified in a STEM subject or equivalent working experience.Ability to produce high quality technical reportsDetermined in driving all deliverable and associated activities through due process to completion.Excellent stakeholder management.
