Job Description Nuclear Safety Case EngineerMust be a sole British national and eligible for SC clearance due to project requirementsPermanent | Remote working (2 days a quarter in Cumbria) | 60,000+ (DOE)Copello are working with a leading defence and engineering organisation to recruit a Nuclear Safety Case Engineer to join a long-term programme at the forefront of the UKs nuclear sector.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in high-integrity, regulated environments and wants to take real ownership of key safety deliverables. Youll be part of a team that directly supports the development and ongoing assurance of nuclear safety cases working closely with Engineering, Human Factors and Site Safety teams to keep standards high and the plant safe.What youll be doing:Writing and reviewing nuclear substantiation and safety case documentationSupporting periodic reviews and safety case implementationLeading on your own deliverables and contributing to the wider teams developmentEngaging with stakeholders across technical and operational functionsReviewing analysis, calculations and other supporting evidence for safety justificationsWhat were looking for:Background in nuclear safety, safety case development, or substantiation workExperience in a regulated or high-hazard industry (nuclear, defence, etc.)Confident producing well-structured technical reportsComfortable collaborating with engineering and assurance teamsDegree-qualified in a STEM subjectTo apply, please send your CV to [email protected]
