Senior Estates Manager / Surveyor - Hybrid

Job Description The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and ambitious Estates professional to join a highly successful, privately owned UK business with a substantial and diverse property portfolio based in the stunning Lake District National Park.Over the past 30 years, our client has heavily invested in building and developing a unique mixed-use estate, and their portfolio includes:Extensive office and commercial buildings20+ residential rental propertiesOver 900 acres of parkland and farmlandHistoric housesTraditional pubs and hospitality venuesRetail outlets including artisan food businessesThis is not a steady-state estates role. This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful, strategically important projects and help shape an estate designed to stand the test of time.The Role Estates Manager / SurveyorReporting directly to the Board, you will take responsibility for delivering a wide variety of property and building projects across the estate.Projects could include:Planning and delivering warehouse extensionsLeading refurbishment programmes across hospitality assetsNegotiating with contractors and professional advisersManaging specifications, proposals and project approvalsDeveloping and embedding new property processes and proceduresYou will lead internal teams and external consultants, manage workloads and outputs, and provide detailed progress reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and to exceptionally high standards.About YouWe are seeking a bright, driven and highly organised professional who enjoys challenge and autonomy.You will have:A strong academic background (excellent A-levels and a STEM or RICS-accredited degree)Ideally 5+ years post-graduate experience in a professional property or building environmentOutstanding organisational and project management skillsExcellent attention to detail and strong numerical abilityStrong IT skills (CAD experience advantageous)A positive, flexible and resilient mindsetThe confidence to take ownership and accountabilityYou will be professional, ambitious and take real pride in your work.
