Job Description ElectricianCroydon / South London40,000 - 50,000 per annumNEOS Engineering are recruiting on behalf of a large-scale construction rental business for a JIB Approved Electrician (preferred) - the client are also open to assisting candidates that are close to achieiving their JIB Gold Card.The RoleThis role is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of temporary electrical systems supporting modular buildings and welfare units on construction sites. You'll be working on live projects, delivering safe, compliant temporary power solutions to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall electrical systems within temporary modular buildings and welfare unitsCarry out testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical installationsConnect and configure LV distribution, temporary power supplies and generatorsWork from electrical drawings, layouts and specificationsEnsure all works comply with BS7671, H&S regulations and site proceduresComplete electrical test sheets, certification and commissioning documentationFault finding and rectification during install and post-handoverLiaise with site teams, supervisors and engineers to ensure timely deliveryMaintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping on siteThe Ideal CandidateFully qualified JIB Approved ElectricianExperience working on construction sites or temporary site servicesBackground installing electrics within modular units, welfare cabins or site compoundsConfident with testing, inspection and commissioningComfortable working across multiple sites in the Bristol regionProfessional, reliable and safety-focusedQualifications & RequirementsJIB Gold Card ESSENTIALNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)ECS / CSCS CardFull UK Driving LicenceSalary & Package40,000-50,000 basic salaryCompany vanOvertime availablePension and benefits packageLong-term, stable role with a market-leading businessJBRP1_UKTJ
