In House Solicitor 40k to 80k pa Full time Monday to Friday

Job DescriptionWe are a Property management company and we are looking for a Qualified Solicitor to join our team with experience in litigation and conveyancing/property. Please Note this role is available both Full-time and part-time.You can expect the work to include:preparation of pre-action correspondence; notes of advice and settlement agreements/correspondence.drafting statements of the case (Claim Forms / Particulars of Claim) applications, witness statements, draft orders, preparation of hearing bundles, and instructions to counsel;legal research;working and managing your caseload plus supporting more senior members of the team with their high-value disputes;Delegating, communicating, and training the junior staff;communicating with clients, opponents, courts and other third parties courteously and professionally;business development.Skills and qualificationsLegal background - a law degree or experience working in a law firm. SRA Registered.Preferably experienced working in-house.Prior recent experience as a Solicitor in general property and or litigation or equivalent and a genuine interest in working in a contentious area of law is desirable but not essential.Previous experience acting for housing or property institutions or strong awareness and interest in this sector is desirable but not essential.IT literate with experience of using Word, Excel and the Internet.Good written, numeracy and oral communication skills. Professional telephone manner.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient.Flexibility with the capability to adapt to change, and new practices and cope under pressure but with the ability to recognise when to seek assistance.Able to integrate within a team and able to work on your own initiative.Friendly and helpful approach.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: 40,000.00-80,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayThe role is also available Part time in the office to suit the applicant's needsPLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS ON-SITE/OFFICE-BASED ONLY.
