The Role: As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for our City Commercial brand. City Commercial is a developing specialist business unit within the core City Plumbing business, the Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to build and maintain a strong brand presence of the growing Commercial business. This is primarily a hybrid-based role with visits to our office. You should be based in the UK and within commutable distance to you should be within commutable distance of either our office in Crick (Northamptonshire). Key Responsibilities Brand marketing management of City Commercial SBU alongside the City Commercial leadership team and the Head of Marketing Oversee all aspects of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging, and creative development and implementation. Working closely across the wider marketing, digital and commercial teams, the Brand Marketing Manager will develop and implement branding plans to strengthen the identity of the City Commercial brand. Manage the identity of the proposition, and ensure strong and consistent executions across all channels, and integration into the trading cycles resulting in customer awareness of City Plumbings USPs, leading to a strengthening of perception of the master brand. Work closely with our suppliers to create and deliver value-adding brand partnerships and product launch activity, strengthening the presence of City Plumbing across the specific field. Oversee & manage the delivery and fulfilment of customer acquisition campaigns, proactively reporting on the successes, working with channel experts in (but not limited to) PR, digital, Email, Social, web content, exhibitions, events, branch 'sales team media, and call plans. Develop, manage and launch key literature, including City Commercial brochure, and their associated marketing launch plans, in order to support the propositions and their targeted audience. Manage and support key internal/external events and wider industry/relevant proposition external events, ensuring the propositions are communicated in the strongest way and land key messages. Closely monitor industry and competitor activity as well as survey & customer research initiatives and scope the needs for customer insight across the propositions, reporting back to the business to support decision making. Support the development and positioning of the City Commercial Own Brand objectives, including (but not limited to) trend analysis, CGI creation, internal and external launches. Support the Marketing team with absences and work proactively to support and develop colleagues within the wider Marketing team to drive best practice and establish best in class ways of working.
