Production Planner

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company, in their search for a Production Planner to work at their established facility in Crewe . For the successful Production Planner, our client is offering: Starting salary of up to 27,500 per annum Monday to Friday 08:15 AM to 4:30 PM Permanent position 25 days holiday + bank holidays Free onsite parking Fantastic working conditions Progression and training opportunities The Role Production Planner: Plan all gluing production work, using machinery knowledge to meet customer delivery deadlines Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth execution of the production plan Communicate with the planning department to align plans with business needs Record production shorts and report them to Customer Services and Management Close off completed jobs daily using job closure reports Provide shift-based written communication for machine scheduling Cover planning tasks during absence or holidays (once trained) Ensure adherence to company Quality Assurance systems including ISO9001, BRC, PS9000, FSC, and PEFC Maintain safe working practices in line with company Environmental, Health & Safety procedures What our client is looking for in a Production Planner: Previous planning experience within a manufacturing setting - ESSENTIAL Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Good communication skills GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent - ESSENTIAL Key skills or similar Job Titles: Production Planner, Manufacturing Coordinator, Operations Scheduler, Production Scheduler, Planning Assistant, Planning Administrator Commutable From: Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Sandbach, Chester, Market Drayton, Stoke-on-Trent, Northwich For further information about this and other positions, please apply now.
