Cellar Hand (Evening Shift) Location: Crawley, West Sussex Hours: Monday Friday, 3.30pm Midnight Salary: 27,500 We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cellar Hand to join our production team on the evening shift. This is a hands-on role, supporting the production of high-quality sparkling wine and ensuring smooth day-to-day cellar operations. The Role As a Cellar Hand, you will be responsible for a variety of winery production activities, working with both wine in tank and bottled stock. You will also support training of junior staff, step in to operate production lines when required, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out winery production operations accurately, efficiently, and on time Operate cellar equipment such as filters and heat exchangers Train and support junior staff and new starters Deputise for the Cellar Supervisor on bottling and disgorging lines when required Act as shift supervisor during harvest if needed Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised workspace Work across different production sites as required Keep training and compliance records up to date Represent the company positively when interacting with others What Were Looking For Previous experience in a winery, brewery, or food/beverage production environment would be an advantage Ability to operate cellar machinery (training can be provided) A strong team player with excellent attention to detail Willingness to work flexibly, with extra hours during peak periods (particularly harvest in October) Enthusiasm to learn and develop within the role Whats on Offer Full-time evening shift role (Monday to Friday, 3.30pm Midnight) Opportunity to develop new skills in wine production and cellar operations A supportive and collaborative team environment Harris Lord is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this role.55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
