If you’re ready to bring your legal expertise into a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, this could be your next great move.In a nutshellAs Manager Legal Counsel – Company Commercial, you’ll provide timely, pragmatic, and commercially aligned legal support across a wide range of day-to-day matters. You’ll be a trusted legal partner to the business, helping teams navigate risk, negotiate contracts, and make sound decisions that align with our goals and values.Reporting to the Senior Manager/Associate General Counsel, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to support operations, governance, and strategic initiatives – all while ensuring we stay compliant and commercially sharp.Day to dayDraft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and standard terms. Provide clear, practical legal advice to business teams, helping them manage risk and deliver results. Support internal governance and compliance processes, ensuring proper approvals and documentation. Contribute to strategic and tactical initiatives across corporate, company, and commercial activities. Act as a trusted adviser, influencing decisions through pragmatic legal guidance. Help drive continuous improvement within the legal team through knowledge sharing and template development.About YouYou’re a qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with a strong academic background and 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team. You bring a solid foundation in commercial contracts and business advisory work, and you’re known for your initiative, commercial awareness, and collaborative mindset.You’ll Also BringStrong drafting and negotiation skills. The ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyers. A professional, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
