Premises Officer. Location: Crawley, Hours: Rotating shifts (Morning, Day, Late) Salary: 16 per hour, Contract Type: Temp with possibility of temp to perm, Start Date: Immediate start We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Premises Officer to join our dedicated site team. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation and safety of our school environment. No formal qualifications are required, but an Enhanced DBS check is essential. Shift Patterns & Responsibilities Youll work across three rotating shifts, each with specific duties: Morning Shift (5:30 AM 1:30 PM) Open the school and prepare the site for the day Carry a radio for reactive light maintenance tasks Sweep the lower floor during break time Sweep the hall after lunch Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM) Carry a radio for reactive light maintenance tasks Open the gates at 2:00 PM Check water temperatures weekly Late Shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM) Carry a radio for reactive light maintenance tasks Close the gates at 5:00 PM Conduct regular site checks Secure all doors and windows by 6:00 PM Close the school by 7:00 PM Support the maintenance and domestic team What Were Looking For A dependable team player with a strong sense of responsibility Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Flexibility to work across different shifts Enhanced DBS clearance (required before starting) Why Join Us?
