Possess an excellent degree in Media or a related subject. Have proven experience as an exceptional Media teacher across KS4 and KS5. Have demonstrable experience in successful departmental leadership. Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passionate about Media and committed to high student achievement.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a clear vision and strategic plan for the Media department. Lead the development and review of a comprehensive Media curriculum at KS4 and KS5. Inspire, motivate, and manage the Media department team, providing guidance and support. Ensure departmental practices align with school policies and safeguarding procedures. Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning within the department. Establish strong partnerships with parents/carers, involving them in their childs learning.Preferred SkillsProvides visionary leadership and fosters high student achievement. Supports diverse learners to reach their full potential. Expert in Media curriculum and digital teaching tools. Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and management skills.
