Job Description Job Title: Senior Office AdministratorLocation: Office-BasedSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceContract Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Role:Were recruiting for a Senior Office Administrator to join a well-established construction/contractor business. This is a key support role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of office operations while providing wider support across sales, operations and leadership teams.This position would suit a highly organised and proactive individual who takes ownership of their responsibilities and is confident managing a varied workload. Acting as the central point of contact within the office, youll play a vital role in keeping processes running efficiently and supporting business growth.Key Responsibilities:Office Administration & OperationsManage day-to-day office administration and operational supportProcess orders and maintain accurate records and documentationCoordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels and train bookingsTake minutes during meetings and ensure actions are followed upProvide general administrative support across the business as requiredFinance & Systems SupportComplete basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry using QuickBooksMaintain accurate records, trackers and reportsSupport the business with effective document control and data managementSales & Business SupportSupport sales meetings through preparation, administration and follow-upAssist with data mining and research to support lead generation activityPrepare reports, presentations and sales documentation as requiredDocumentation & Design SupportCreate and maintain spreadsheets using ExcelProduce professional documents using WordSupport marketing and internal materials using Adobe and CanvaCandidate Profile:Proven experience in a senior administrative, office support or operations roleHighly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skillsStrong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Adobe and CanvaProactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilitiesConfident supporting sales activity and working across multiple teamsAble to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience within construction or a contractor environment is highly desirableSome understanding of HR processes or an HR-related qualification would be advantageousWhat Our Client Offers:Competitive salary packageStable, full-time permanent positionVaried and hands-on role with autonomy and responsibilitySupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunity to grow with the business and develop the role over timeHow to Apply:If youre an experienced Senior Office Administrator looking for a varied and responsible role within a construction-focused business, wed love to hear from you.About Us:We are a recruitment agency specialising in commercial and operational roles across the UK.
