Job Description Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Cramlington Department: Production Reports to: Production Manager We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor - Electronics to lead our clients electronics test and repair function. In this role, you will oversee testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic products, ensuring high quality and operational efficiency. Alongside acting as a technical expert, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Supervision Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test and repair engineers/technicians. Plan, prioritise, and allocate workloads to meet production and repair schedules. Provide training, technical guidance, and performance reviews to support team development. Technical Oversight Oversee testing, fault-finding, and repair of electronic products down to board or component level. Ensure diagnostic procedures and quality standards are consistently applied. Review and improve test procedures, fault diagnosis strategies, and repair methodologies. Support root cause analysis and work with design/quality teams on corrective actions. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce turnaround times. Maintain accurate test documentation, SOPs, and repair logs. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean or Six Sigma methods where appropriate. Collaboration Work closely with engineering, production, and customer support teams to resolve product issues. Provide feedback to design teams to enhance product reliability and serviceability. Qualifications & Experience Experience 5+ years in electronics testing and repair, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong background in board-level diagnostics and repair of complex systems. Proficient in troubleshooting both analogue and digital circuits. TPBN1_UKTJ
