With a strong team of field engineers, we deliver structured cabling, fibre optics, and network solutions to commercial and public sector clients.We have ambitious growth plans, and we're now hiring our first full-time Operations Manager to help make them a reality.About the role:You'll work directly with the Managing Director to take over day-to-day operations and help us scale. Your role will include:Scheduling and coordinating engineers for installation & maintenance jobsManaging tools, vans, materials, and suppliersTracking job status and ensuring client satisfactionCreating or improving internal systems (job sheets, checklists, compliance)Liaising with clients to arrange access, sign-offs, and snagging follow-upHelping prepare quotes or basic pricing when requiredSupporting basic HR/admin tasks (time sheets, H&S logs, training renewals)Procuring/scheduling materials & managing stock levelsMaintain engineering compliance training & recordsH&S compliance About you:Essential Requirements:Experience in the Network Infrastructure Industry 3+ years experience in an operational, scheduling, or logistics role Excellent organisation and communication skillsConfidence working in a small team with hands-on responsibilityStrong computer skills - spreadsheets, job tracking tools, Google/OfficeExperience working with engineers, suppliers, and customersA "get things done" mindset - calm under pressure, solution-focusedBonus if you have:Knowledge of job management tools (SimPRO, Joblogic, Workpal, BigChange, etc.)Health & Safety, ISO, or compliance backgroundPerks & Benefits:Competitive salaryLaptopMileage or fuel allowanceFlexible hours considered once settled inOpportunity to grow with the business into a senior role
