Leicester, LE4 14.50 per Hour We are working with a world-leading engineering company that prides itself on proving the highest quality bespoke products for the heavy plant industry, in the UK and globally.We are looking for a CNC Machine Setter/Operator to operate CNC Turning Machines with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls.The role will involve setting up the machines for production , making adjustments as required and ensuring quality of products in line with the drawing provided.Day/Hours of WorkMonday Thursday:14:30pm 23:00pmFriday 14:30pm 20:00pmRate of Pay: 14.50 per Hour Temp to Perm Opportunity The Role: Set CNC Turning machines for production and low batch quantities within allocated timesMake adjustments to the machine settings as requiredEnsure quality expectations, as per drawing and planning are achievedEnsure allocated operation times are achievedFill daily activity sheetsBe aware of and observe personal health and safety, and that of fellow membersCo-operate with Team LeadersAbout you: Experience of setting and operating CNC Turning machines of all types of materials for at least 4 yearsMust be conversant with Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls to make routine adjustmentsMust be competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawingsMust be conversant with xjdpvnf the use of inspection instruments, to measure diameter, surface texture, roundness, concentricity etcIdeally apprentice served in a machining disciplineKnowledge of good machine working practicesGood knowledge of the English language, to comprehend health and safety instructions/ trainingGood overall health and fitnessIf you are interested in this role please apply now or alternatively call for further information.
