Architect – Design-Led Practice | CoventrySalary: £38,000 – £50,000 (DOE)Type: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Coventry – Studio-based with flexible workingSoftware: AutoCAD, Vectorworks, InDesign, MAC.About the PracticeThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, design-focused architectural practice based in the heart of Coventry. With a reputation for delivering award-winning residential and commercial projects, the team is collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to producing thoughtful, high-quality architecture.As the practice continues to grow, they are now looking for a talented Qualified Architect to join their close-knit studio, someone who is creative, technically confident, and able to drive projects from concept through to completion.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be a qualified Architect (ARB registered), with experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages. You'll have strong technical skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate diagrams and construction information using AutoCAD. Experience working in a MAC environment, with proficiency in Vectorworks and InDesign, is highly desirable.You’ll also demonstrate excellent communication skills, be confident working directly with clients, and be proactive in managing deadlines and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and present detailed architectural drawings and plansWork confidently across RIBA Stages 1–6, including design development and technical deliveryProduce clear diagrams and drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Vectorworks)Undertake regular site visits and evaluations to ensure design quality and complianceLead or support the construction phase, liaising with contractors and consultantsEnsure consistent quality assurance and adherence to UK Building RegulationsCollaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines, budgets and creative goalsRequirements & QualificationsRegistered Architect, all levels of experience considered -Part III experienceStrong technical understanding of UK construction detailing and standardsHighly proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Vectorworks and InDesign is a strong advantageComfortable working on MAC systems in a studio environmentExcellent verbal and visual communication skillsConfident managing client relationships and external consultantsStrong time management, organisation and attention to detailWhat You’ll GetA creative and supportive working environmentFlexible working options and a healthy work-life balanceExciting design-led projects across sectorsOpportunities for growth and further responsibilityFriendly, collaborative team culturePlease either apply via this means, or for a confidential chat call myself on 07857372817.
