This fully remote, home-based position comes with all necessary equipment provided by Powercargo. We’re particularly keen on candidates with at least two years of experience in freight forwarding (ideally in sea freight imports) and proven ability to use CargoWise One software. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is a chance to play a key role in our continued success.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging freight forwarding jobs (sea, air), inputting data, liaising with clients and service providers, providing updatesDealing with UCNs, PIN releases, arranging regular collections and deliveries with hauliersCompleting sea and road freight import (and occasional export) entries using CargoWise softwareLiaising with HMRC, Port Health, Border Force, and other involved partiesDeveloping strong relationships with overseas agents, hauliers, and warehousing partnersRaising invoices and managing financial transactions for your files Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum of 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding (sea freight imports preferred)Experience completing import/export customs clearancesProficiency in CargoWise software (essential)Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and drive new opportunitiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work autonomously and remain proactiveWillingness to learn and grow with the companyBenefitsSalary £28,000 p/a - negotiable depending on the experience.23 days holiday plus English bank holidays.Pension scheme.Flexible working hours.Remote, home-based with full equipment provided by the company.Great opportunity for career progression.
