THE ROLEVisa Direct moves money in real time to more than three billion cards and bank accounts worldwide. We’re looking for a fintech-savvy storyteller who can turn complex payment rails, use-cases and regulations into clear, engaging, on-brand copy that helps merchants, issuers, acquirers and fintech partners understand the power of Visa Direct. You’ll own day-to-day content creation—from the first spark of an idea through SME interviews, legal and compliance reviews, to final publication on and social channels. Your writing will appear in weekly blog posts, long-form white papers, product one-pagers, customer decks, and LinkedIn campaigns.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Content Strategy & Ideation• Partner with product marketing and comms leads to build a 6–12-month editorial calendar that aligns with business objectives, solution launches and industry moments.• Translate data insights, trends and partner stories into compelling topics that differentiate Visa Direct.Writing & Editing• Research, outline, draft and polish a weekly Visa Direct blog post (600–1,000 words) from start to finish.• Craft concise, scroll-stopping copy for organic and paid LinkedIn posts, tweets, infographics and short videos.• Write product sheets, website landing pages, email nurtures, and customer case studies as needed.• Uphold Visa’s voice, tone and brand guidelines across every asset.Project & Stakeholder Management• Conduct video call interviews with internal subject-matter experts (product, engineering, risk, compliance) and external partners.• Route drafts through legal, brand, compliance and privacy reviews; shepherd feedback to meet aggressive publication timelines.• Work with the web team to publish and maintain SEO-optimized content.WHO YOU ARE• 2–4+ years of professional copywriting or content marketing experience in fintech, banking, payments or SaaS.• Portfolio shows mastery of short-form and long-form B2B content: blog series, white papers, social copy, web pages, collateral.• Ability to translate technical concepts (APIs, real-time payments, cross-border FX, compliance) into plain-English benefits for business and product audiences.• Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and approvals in a highly regulated environment.• Familiar with SEO best practices, content analytics and CMS tools.• Strong interview skills and a nose for the narrative that will resonate with financial-services decision makers.• Excellent attention to detail; edits for grammar, style, brand and legal accuracy.• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English or related field.BONUS POINTS• Experience collaborating with global teams and translating U.S. content for regional markets.• Knowledge of real-time payments networks, P2P/merchant disbursements, treasury or card scheme operations.• Familiarity with Figma, Tableau or basic HTML for richer storytelling.
