Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Your new company Hays Education are working exclusively with a school in Coventry who are looking for Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to start ASAP. The school is situated in the centre of Coventry and is easily accessible via public transport. There is also ample car parking spaces around the school. This school caters for children up to the age of four. Each child is considered as unique and learning meets the individual needs of the children. Teachers within this school provide only the best for their children, ensuring they are happy and giving them the best start in their early career. Your new role You will be required to work across all age groups - however, there may be some leniency depending on which age group you work well with. You will be working full-time, and the hours are from 8am-6pm on a shift basis. You will support the nursery teacher and follow the lesson plans as set out for the day/week. You will support with observations, learning journals, liaise with parents/carers, monitor progress and report any concerns to the headteacher. You must also lead and assist in planning and have the ability to work using your own initiative. What you'll need to succeed You must have a Level 3 Early Years qualification. This is a mandatory requirement. You must be experienced working in early years and have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. You must be flexible and be happy to work full-time hours. You will need to be a confident communicator with both children and adults. Ideally, you will drive, but as mentioned above, this school is accessible via bus. Above all, you must have a passion for working with children and not be afraid to get down to their level.
