Job DescriptionVehicle Build Technicians / Master Technicians x3Start Date W/C 16/06/25 Highly Competitive DOE3 Month Contract CoventryThe DRVN Automotive Group is seeking 3 skilled Vehicle Build Technicians / Master Technicians to join its dynamic prototype build team in Coventry.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking project with potential for longer-term prospects for the right candidates.ResponsibilitiesCompany Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the companyBuilding of Restomods and OEM vehicles from the ground up, which includes working on engines and gearboxesAssemble, test, and validate vehicle systems and components to meet quality and performance standardsConduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicle systems to resolve issuesWork closely with engineers to support prototype build, production trials ready for full production buildsMaintain accurate records of build processes, changes, and test resultsAdhere to company safety protocols and best practicesEnsure tools and equipment are maintained and calibratedSupport continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and build processesVehicle diagnostics and calibrationService and Maintenance on vehiclesVehicle mechanical workEssential SkillsHands-on experience in vehicle assembly or a related fieldRelevant qualifications in a relevant subject i.e NVQ, Manufacturing or Engineering subjectCoachbuilding / Panel Beating experienceExperience of working on Race Cars, Restomods and OEM vehicles from the ground up, which include working on engines and gearboxesStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsProficient in using tools and diagnostic equipmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively in a team and under minimal supervisionMust have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.Desirable SkillsWorking knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA processComposites knowledgePlease note we do not provide sponsorships to those who require it and will only accept applications from those who have full rights to work in the UK with no restrictions and IDLR/Full Settlement status.
