Job Title: Service Engineer Automatic & Industrial Doors Location: Midlands (Field-Based) Salary: Up to 43,000 basic + Door-to-door pay + Excellent OTE (60,000+) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Overview TSM Technical is working in partnership with a leading name in the door systems industry to recruit an experienced Service Engineer for the Midlands region . Territory Coverage This is a field-based role covering: Core Areas: Leicester (LE), Peterborough (PE), Coventry (CV), Northampton (NN), Milton Keynes (MK), Hitchin (SG), Luton (LU) Occasional Travel: Nottingham (NG), Derby (DE), Birmingham (B) What Youll Be Doing Install, service, and maintain automatic doors , industrial doors , and shutters Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Complete all job documentation via tablet (iPad provided) Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5/6 weeks) with standby & call-out pay Maintain excellent customer relationships on-site Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards What Were Looking For Essential: Minimum of 2 years experience as an automatic door engineer. EN16005 or BS7036 qualified (or willing to obtain) Confident with diagnostics and mechanical/electrical systems Full UK driving licence IT literate comfortable using tablets and basic software Desirable: Experience with industrial doors (desirable) IPAF, PASMA or CSCS cards Experience with shutters, sectional doors, or fire doors Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills Whats On Offer Pay & Hours: Basic Salary: Up to 43,000 per annum (based on hourly rate) OTE: 60,000+ achievable with overtime, on-call, and bonuses Hours: Paid door-to-door Overtime: Time and a half, double time on Sundays/bank holidays On-Call Details: 1 in 5 or 6 weeks 175 per week standby pay Additional 50 if attending 4 jobs during standby 50 bonus for midnight callouts + 11 hours rest paid the next day Equipment Provided: Company van & fuel card Power tools, hand tools, uniform & PPE iPad for job management Screwfix card for materials Benefits Package: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (option to buy 5 more) Private medical insurance (family cover options available) Enhanced pension contributions 10 days company-paid sick leave per year Life Assurance (2x annual salary) Eye care, dental cover & 24/7 counselling/GP access Continuous training & development , with clear progression routes Why Apply?
