BSL Teaching Assistant

Your new role BSL Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Coventry) Part-Time: Monday to Friday, 9:10am-12:30pm We are currently seeking a committed and compassionate BSL Teaching Assistant to support students in a secondary school based in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone experienced in British Sign Language and passionate about helping students for whom English is not their first language. Role Overview Support students with BSL needs in a classroom setting Assist with communication, learning activities, and language development Help bridge understanding between spoken English and sign language Work closely with teaching staff to ensure inclusive education Key Details Location: Coventry Setting: Secondary school Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:10am-12:30pm Type: Part-time, ongoing Requirements Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) Experience supporting students with communication needs Understanding of challenges faced by students learning English as an additional language Patient, empathetic, and confident in a classroom environment If you're passionate about inclusive education and have the skills to support students through BSL, we'd love to hear from you.
