Our client is a large multi-national contractor specialist in geotechnical and environmental engineering offering site investigations, design and construction. They pride themselves on their innovative nature, customer focus and drive to continually improve. An exciting opportunity with with our clients as an Insitu Testing Technician has come available. This permanent role offers you the opportunity to be a part of our dynamic Geotechnical team, where you'll have the chance to work on a variety of unique projects across the country. As a reliable, flexible, and driven individual, you'll be responsible for conducting specialist in-situ testing and monitoring techniques, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Highlights: Become a vital member of our Geotechnical team, contributing to a diverse range of projects Develop your skills and expertise in specialist in-situ testing and monitoring techniques Enjoy the balance of being proactive and independent, while also being a strong team player Preferred Requirements: Proficiency in borehole tests, gas monitoring instrumentation, standpipes, vibrating wire, pneumatic and hydraulic type piezometers, hydrostatic profile gauges, sample collection, Pressuremeter testing, and high-pressure dilatometer Ability to work within a small field testing team to develop skills and competency in specialist in-situ testing and monitoring techniques Experience in site supervision of drilling projects, including logging samples, photographing and sub-sampling core, and data inputting Familiarity with borehole permeability tests, data collection for groundwater and gas monitoring instrumentation, and ground displacement instrumentation Proficiency in collecting water and gas samples from on-site borehole installations and keeping accurate field records Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding and experience in the geotechnical industry Excellent management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to delivering high-quality work and adhering to UKAS standards Benefits: Competitive salary, 25 days holiday with the option to buy more Expenses Project Allowances Health Care Cover Employee recognition schemes Family friendly support Employee benefits and discounts app Employee assistance programmes Contributed 6% company pension TPBN1_UKTJ
