Insurance & Risk Manager

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation in Coventry, who are recruiting for an Insurance & Risk Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The contract will initially be for 6-months, but has potential to be extended, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent role.The successful candidate will be required to attend office a minimum of 2 days p/week, and they're offering a daily rate of circa £400 p/day via an Umbrella company.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Strategically leading the insurance function for the organisationArranging adequate and cost-effective cover for key internal and external stakeholdersProcessing insurance claims within established timescales, on a range of matters, including motor, liability, personal accident, school contents etc.Managing the renewal processLeading on risk management processes for the organisation, including responsibility for the risk registerLiaising with key stakeholders, including insurers, solicitors, claimants and internal colleague, when queries arise on claimsExperience required:Must have previous experience working in an in-house insurance role, public sector would be preferableClaims handlingWorking hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible)Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
