Demand and Supply Planner

Job Description About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Demand and Supply Planner for a 6-9 month fixed term contract, to manage the flow of ambient stock across our network, aiming to control inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. To have ownership of products / suppliers, to raise purchase orders, create buys plans and supporting end to end supplier relationships.Location: CoventryContract: 6-9 months FTCResponsibilitiesDemand Forecasting: Analysis historical data, market trends, and other factors to predict future demand.Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimise excess inventory.Supply Chain Optimisation: Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse, and other teams to optimise the supply chain.Performance Reporting: Track and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.Continuous Improvement: Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.Required SkillsAnalytical Skills: Ability to use Microsoft excel to review data to identify trends.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various teams.Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using supply chain planning software.Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and the impact of supply chain decisions.Qualifications and Experience Experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles is preferred.Experience in using supply chain planning software is a plus.
