Central Employment are working with a fast growing eCommerce business in County Durham, as they look to expand there in-house Marketing and eCommerce team. They have a new opportunity for an eCommerce Merchandiser, to work alongside there dedicated Marketing Manager.Full-time onsite, Seaham£28,000-£32,000 DOE The role is perfect for a motivated self-starter who loves making a real difference through data driven decision making; having responsibility and autonomy to deliver; and is passionate about working in a growing and developing business.Role and responsibilities:- As our eCommerce merchandiser, your primary responsibilities will be end-to-end product and catalogue curation, identifying and delivering improvements to the website and wider eCommerce environment.Responsibilities will include:Creation, monitoring and optimisation of product listings (including descriptions, meta data, attributes, cross sells/up sells, images and videos etc)Product and category page keyword and SEO optimisationConfiguration, monitoring and reporting of promotions, sales and offersProduct inventory managementManage third party marketplacesImprovement of site search performanceIdentifying opportunities to improve and do things differentlyIdentify assets & content required to improve the customer journeyCMS page creation / update and improvementsTesting of new functionality or bug-fixes prior to go-liveProduct pricing and margin managementSkills & Experience Required:2/3+ years previous eCommerce experienceKnowledge of SEO and SEO best practiceUnderstanding of CRO and UXExperience of creating, optimisation of product descriptions and listingsKnowledge of and experiencing using Shopify/Shopify Plus
