Corsham House - a new opening from the Beckford Group. Corsham House will be a wine-led townhouse, offering an all-day buzz and bustle between Bath & the Cotswolds. Sociable Brasserie dining with a terrace; a Beckford Bottle Shop and 14 beautiful bedrooms upstairs. The food at Corsham House will be led by Chef James Harris (Beckford Bottle Shop) and will focus on seasonal cooking in his approachable, relaxed English style. The menu will blend small plates and larger dishes, rooted in classical cooking techniques while embracing a modern flair. Produce, provenance and simplicity will be at the heart of everything we do, supported by a strong wine offering and warm, professional hospitality. As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, help lead and develop the team, and maintain consistently high standards of food quality and presentation. You will be involved in menu development, training, organisation and service, playing a key role in shaping the kitchen from the opening stages onwards. This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous ready to step up (preferably with 2 rosette background), with a genuine passion for seasonal, ingredient-led cooking. You should be calm under pressure, well organised, and enthusiastic about working as part of a close-knit, professional team. An interest in wine and the wider hospitality experience would be an advantage.
