Job Description Control Room Shift Engineer Location: CorshamEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentShift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)Salary: Up to 52k + Excellent BenefitsWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading data centre provider for a Control Room Shift Engineer to join their high-performing team at a state-of-the-art facility in Corsham. This role offers the opportunity to work within a mission-critical environment, supporting the smooth operation of advanced engineering systems.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and other control platforms.Respond to alarms and faults in real-time, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of critical engineering infrastructure.Maintain accurate logs and reports in line with operational procedures.Support planned and reactive maintenance activities in collaboration with engineering teams.Candidate RequirementsRecognised Level 3 or above qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.Membership of a professional engineering institution (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET) is desirable.Minimum 2 years' experience in critical building engineering services.Extensive experience working with BMS, EMS, and CAFM systems.Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.Must be eligible to work in the UK and for SC Clearance.
