We're looking for skilled Enclosure Equipment Technicians to support the build of high-spec production systems, ensuring top-quality finish and structural reliability from workshop to site.This role combines mechanical assembly, precision fitting, and occasional travel, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working within a multi-skilled engineering team.What You'll Be Doing: Fabricating and assembling structural frameworks and protective machine enclosuresCutting, drilling, and finishing sheet metal and frame materialsInstalling locks, hinges, pneumatic cylinders, and mechanical fastenersFitting enclosures to machinery with close attention to alignment and build tolerancesDisassembling and preparing machines for shipment and reassembly on customer sitesReading and interpreting mechanical and assembly drawingsCollaborating with project teams to ensure smooth integration and issue resolution? What We're Looking For: Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic EngineeringStrong hands-on mechanical assembly experience (fitting, alignment, pneumatic components)Ability to read and interpret technical/mechanical drawingsUnderstanding of mechanical systems such as conveyors, bearings, belts, or pipeworkPrecision mindset and focus on quality and finishWillingness to travel occasionally for site installs or troubleshootingNice to Have (But Not Essential): Experience working on production machinery or capital equipmentFamiliarity with commissioning and final assembly processesBackground in high-spec or regulated environments (e.g. pharma or aerospace)What's In It For You?
