We’re delighted to present a unique opportunity for an experienced Account Director to take the wheel on one of its flagship automotive accounts. This senior, hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at delivering exceptional events and knows how to build strong client relationships.Following significant growth across a key automotive account, the successful candidate will be a confident leader with a strong grasp of the full marketing mix of spanning digital, experiential and traditional channels. Acting as the senior lead for client service, you will translate brand objectives into impactful event strategies and customer journeys that deliver measurable results.£45,000 - £55,000 Working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm with 30-minute lunch breakHybrid working is available, 1 day per week working from homeCompany carRegular travel is required 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidayFree on-site parkingDuties and Responsibilities:Lead strategic account management and senior-level client interactionBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisorServe as the main liaison between clients and internal teams for seamless deliveryTranslate client objectives into impactful event strategies aligned with marketing and PR goalsManage end-to-end event delivery, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and to a high standardOversee multiple events simultaneously, from small meetings to large-scale exhibitions and conferencesMonitor performance against KPIs, ROI, and budget targets; provide detailed reporting and insightsTake full responsibility for budgeting, financial accuracy, and profitabilityDrive innovation through market research and trend analysisLead ideation and pitch development for new briefs and business opportunitiesSupport agency growth through account expansion and upselling servicesMentor and manage a small team while co-ordinating contractors and suppliersChampion company culture and foster a collaborative working environmentsRequired Skills and Experience:Possess extensive experience in a senior account management role within an agency environment, with proven expertise managing automotive accounts is essentialStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage both people and projectsSolid understanding of event services including production, logistics, AV, technical solutions and supplier managementProficient in using tools to monitor and analyse campaign successExceptional organisational and communication skillsAdaptability to evolving client needs and shifting prioritiesProven track record of developing and winning new business including pitching to clientsSolid project management skills with precision in planning, documentation and deliveryAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple events simultaneouslyExperience working alongside PR teams or agencies during product launches is desirable
