Pipe Fitter - Welder Location Corby 18 to 21 an hour Fulltime Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Job description The focus of the role is to complete multiple projects across customer sites throughout the Midlands/Corby offices . Experience within boiler houses and plant rooms is preferred as projects will predominately be installation of new industrial steam boilers. NVQ level 3 or equivalent in piping fitting / fabrication and welding processes is preferred but not essential. Welding processes for this position will typically be MMA and or TIG. Daily duties will involve: Accurately measure up, sketch out and install pipework systems Part of a small team, reading sketches and engineering drawings Welding of to 24 schedule pipework to class 1 standard Using fabrication tools such as welding plant, cutting plant oxy/acetylene, 4.5-9-inch angle grinders, drilling machines, pistol drills, chop saws, and general hand tools In addition to daily duties, key tasks will include: We are looking for someone that has excellent communications skills and can use their own initiative to work without constant supervision. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have 2 years experience or more. Salary is based on experience, weekend and overtime work is always a possibility All health and safety training is provided as well as transport when required This is a permanent contract subject to completion of a satisfactory probation period Core hours are 7.30-16.00 Monday to Friday, but flexibility to suit customer needs is expected Job Types: Full-time, Permanent plus annual leave 33 days Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Overtime Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Please apply with your cv TPBN1_UKTJ
